Umami on tanssia ja maalausta yhdistävä performanssi. 

 Siinä tutkitaan musiikin, tanssin ja värin yhteyttä ja aistien vuorovaikutteisuutta. 

Se on myös vuoropuhelua tanssijan ja maalarin - tyttären ja äidin välillä.
